When one thinks of an apartment, small, boxy, and uninspired comes to mind. Not in the case of the H.2 Residence by the firm 314 Architecture Studio in suburban Athens, Greece, however. Designed and built with special emphasis on energy efficiency and a minimalist approach to the carbon footprint, the building actually contains three three-bedroom apartments, each measuring an impressive 2691 sq. ft. of living space, each boasting unique, contemporary design attributes incorporating stone, glass, wood, and marble.
Residents enjoy access to a cleverly designed pool that wraps around the rear of the residence, while a glass-enclosed staircase leads to the rooftop garden area from which visitors can enjoy the stunning views of the Argo-Saronic Sea.
