Imagine purchasing a home for just $25,000. Seems unreal, doesn’t it? Well one Vancouver man hopes to make that dream a reality with the launch of the Nomad Micro Home, a groundbreaking tiny house that is flat-packed in a box and ready for shipment anywhere on the planet. The house is easily assembled and includes a living room, kitchen, bathroom, staircase, and sleeping area, all seamlessly integrated into a 10′ x 10′ space.
The man behind it all is Ian Kent, and he is currently seeking funding for his affordable housing project on Indiegogo. According to Kent “At least one handyman with a helper could assemble it in less than a week, it’s kind of an IKEA type model.”
