Two Homes Built Into the Landscape in Paraguay

BAUEN Architects have designed two homes into a sloping plot in Paraguay, complete with sweeping arched roofs that are integrated beautifully with the surrounding green landscape.

Like the Dune House and Low-Impact Hobbit Home, the majority of the structure was built underground, allowing for a relatively small environmental footprint. Tall windows bring natural light into the home, while the earth insulates it and provides optimal temperatures year-round.
