This Pool House Has It All

Referred to as an “open-air pavilion,” the Story Pool House is exactly what its title suggests—a pool house, only fancier. Not only is there space for the trailer, but the small structure has a fully functional kitchen, dining, bath, and storage area. The wood deck patio is covered, illuminated at night by overhead track lighting, and sits alongside an inviting rectangular pool, perfect for a refreshing dip in the scorching Texan summers. The clever design and flawless execution garnered architectural firm Lake Flato the 2012 Builder’s Choice Award and the 2011 AIA (American Institute of Architects) San Antonio Honor Award.
