Celestino Piralla and Cornelia Stumpf wanted more space in their home. They needed a home office space but really did not want to change the footprint of their mid-century home in order to add the extra space. So instead of renovating and adding a room onto their house, they opted for this modular 320 square foot structure located in a corner of their back yard, making use of otherwise unused space.
The couple collaborated with Phoenix-based ASUL to find a modular plan that would meet their needs. The result is this 16 x 20 interior combined with a 16 x 8 deck. The total project cost was around $50,000.
