These Aren’t Your Mother’s Magnets: Magnetic Wallpaper Is Attracting All the Pretty Things

Love artwork on your fridge, but don’t like the cluttered look? Tired of refilling those pesky holes you make every time you push a pin or nail to hang art on the wall? MagScapes cofounders Patricia Adler and Jeremy Lee have your solution: magnetic wallpaper.

Adler says:
The inspiration came when trying to find a way to use walls as a canvas for creative expression. I found that using magnets was simple, clean, endlessly re-arrangeable and most of all, fun!”
With global patents in place and pending, the paper is lightweight and easy to hang, available in two different densities—MS Lite and MS Plus—depending on the amount of ferrous particles embedded in the paper. The wallcoverings come in a variety of shades and patterns, from plain white used for dry erase to whimsical geometric stylings, encouraging the decorator to rethink the possibilities for household and office wallcovering. And don’t forget the magnets–from fairies and elves and pirates to stylish buttons and polished silver rare earth cylinders, the only limit is your imagination.
