Spanish furniture maker OHEA has developed the Smart Bed, a bed that is programmed to do that annoying task no one ever wants to do – it makes itself! The bed is equipped with a device that allows it to automatically straighten the bedding once the occupant has gotten out of the bed and left it unmade.
The bed has a mechanical arm that is equipped with two rollers and guides the blanket up to head of the bed. While this happens, the pillows are lifted up by cords and then placed back down once the blanket is fully stretched and tucked in. The entire process takes about 50 seconds. It might not be as advanced as the Hi-Tech Luxury Bed, but it’s certainly not your typical bed design.
