Shortlisted in the “villas” category at the 2012 World Architecture Festival, Toblerone House by Studio MK27 is an exceptionally designed modern home located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The structure consists of three horizontal concrete slabs, with the middle slab separating two visually contrasting spaces. The lower level is comprised of glass walls and two rows of steel columns, while the upstairs is covered in retractable wooden slats that illuminate at night.
