South African architectural design firm Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects, or SAOTA, has made quite a name for itself over the past few years, garnering a number of awards and completing some ultra-luxurious, modern homes for its vast client base. “The Nettleton 198” is one such project.
Built in Clifton, near Cape Town, and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the six-bedroom, seven-story home capitalizes on the gorgeous natural environs. From every level are breathtaking views of Lions Head and the ocean to the west, the gardens to the east. Materials are rich and varied throughout, from powder-coated aluminum on the building’s façade to the glass, black marble, and walnut throughout the interior. The open plan—and by open, we mean open to the world with an infinity pool that stretches off the living room—is further enhanced by incredible design and décor elements throughout.
