Stunning Water Drop Refractions

In his series Refractions, Markus Reugels captures a picture behind a falling water drop. This might sound simple but, as Markus explains, to set the focus just right and to find good lighting is not as easy as it seems. To get each shot, he uses large satellite world images (or other image of choice) as the backdrop and then captures the background’s refraction through the water drops with a high speed camera.
