A vintage English steamer trunk, once belonging to a traveler named Tom Richards, inspired Restoration Hardware‘s gorgeous collection of trunks, tables, desks and bookcase.
Each piece is aged to look as if it’s seen epic journeys of its own. Wood frames are clad in water-resistant hand-waxed canvas, finished with hand-hammered pins. The trunks are braced with strips of aged bamboo and trimmed with antiqued brass.
