One of São Paolo’s most esteemed and accomplished architects, Marcio Kogan is known for his focus on minimalism and clean lines. Appointed an Honorary Fellow through the American Institute of Architects in 2011, Kogan’s work is respected and admired the world over. A recent projects, called V4 House, is a collaborative effort with colleagues at Studio MK27, and is a pristine embodiment of Kogan’s talents. At nearly 6500 sq. ft., the contemporary V4 House is open plan taken to the extreme: a large living room and adjoining dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms, and an expansive bathroom with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The house is complemented by lush open spaces and an outdoor galley for those nights when barbecue is on the menu. Photographs by Nelson Kon.
