Mona Caron Paints a ‘Transparent Utility Box’ on the Streets of San Francisco

Illustrator Mona Caron has painted this fun mural on a utility box at Duboce Avenue and Church Street in San Francisco. The piece, which was commissioned by San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, is titled ‘Manifestation Station’.

What’s so cool about it is when viewing the box at a distance from a specific vantage point, its perspective lines will match the background, providing a glimpse into an alternative reality.
