Magic Mountain is a large scale roller coaster sculpture near Duisburg, Germany. As visitors approach the sculpture they are surprised to learn that it is not a typical roller coaster, rather a long flight of variable steep steps. Led-lights are integrated into the handrails, highlighting the flight of stairs so the sculpture is accessible at night as well day. The design is by Heike Mutter and Ulrich Genth.
