The iVictrola made by designer Matt Richmond merges a vintage horn with modern day technology in a very beautiful way. You simply place your iPhone in the indented dock of the walnut base. The sound is then carried from a hole in the base and amplified by the metal Magnavox horn to fill the room, no electricity required. If you want one, you’re going to have to join the waiting list and cough up $650 to $1000 depending on the species of wood used, but it’s so worth it. The iVictrola is also available for the iPad.
