Hilarious Scotch Taped Visages

For New Mexico based photographer Wes Naman, his scotch tape portrait series came about after a playful encounter with his assistant while wrapping Christmas presents one year.

Once the idea struck, Naman sought out a bunch of volunteers who would be willing to have their faces distorted into hilariously hideous expressions by having their features bent and pulled with the use of scotch tape. The result: a series of tragic-comic portrait shots, with the volunteers adding to the hilarity of the situation by donning outlandish accessories.

Naman’s project has not gone unnoticed. He has already received offers from office supply stores for their ad campaigns, as well as interest from a local ad agency who wishes to use the portraits for plastic surgery centers.
