A Paper Trail Of Hearts In This Oscar Nominated Short “Paperman”

Using groundbreaking techniques, first time director John Kahrs artfully merges computer generated and hand-drawn animation in his oscar nominated short Paperman that is a stylish mid-century love story set in New York city.

The short speaks to the flocks of lonely hearts seeking out their true love in an ever changing and chaotic city backdrop. After a chance encounter on his morning commute, we see our protagonist longing for another encounter with the girl of his dreams. As fate would have it, he spots her in a skyscraper office across from his own. What ensues is a quirky and heart warming tale as we see our protagonist make use of his imagination and sheer determination to capture both her attention and her heart.
