A Look Inside the Home of Artist Laurie Frick

Texas-based architecture firm KRDB has designed this single family home for Laurie Frick, an artist who requested that the house include an office and a 700 square foot art studio so she could comfortably work at home. The 1600 square foot one bedroom, two bathroom home sits on an infill lot in Barton Heights, a suburb in Austin, Texas. One of my favourite parts of the home is the large hallway seen when you first enter, which doubles as a gallery for Laurie’s art collection.
