If you ever happen to be crossing the border between Georgia and Armenia, you will be pleasantly surprised by a stunning architectural design. Architect Luka Machablishvili has designed a beautiful rolling cascade of concrete forming the checkpoint and will divide the traffic from both directions into a total of eight lanes. The modern two storied building is located between the old customs building and the border and has a total area of 1.78 hectares.
