A Birds Eye View of People Turned Portrait by Craig Alan

Now these portraits may indeed look like aerial photography group shots, however talented Atlanta based artist Craig Alan has in fact intricately painted these miniature people one by one. Craig Alan had been inspired to create the “Populous” series after snapping some shots of people on the beach from a 6th story apartment balcony. He then went on to recreate iconic figures such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley using his realist painting style.
